Stylenoir Monarchy Contest!

Stylenoir Magazine is the world's largest dark style magazine and, after three years online, they launched to print earlier this year with tremendous success - selling out within the first month! Stylenoir wants to share this success with us, by offering a limited number of deviants features online and in print in the form of a contest!

Stylenoir features digital and traditional artists alongside their fashion photography editorials - the Retribution print issue featured dA artists AUTR3 and Dan-Heffer - and this contest will reflect that diversity with three separate categories!

The Brief

The theme for the next issue of Stylenoir is Monarchy. Your entries should reflect this (keeping in mind the aesthetic and ethos of Stylenoir Magazine). We want to see your Monarchy artworks!

Please submit your entries to the Stylenoir Monarchy category.

Photographers

Rather than full editorials, we are looking for single images (although you are welcome to shoot full editorials, we just want to see one image from it per submission!).
While the magazine is fashion orientated, and fashion photography submissions are encouraged, we are also welcoming more artistic and interpretive photographic submissions - just make sure that your image is related to Monarchy!

Traditional Artists

We are excited to see submissions from all sorts of traditional mediums, no limits on creativity and expression! Just maintain the Monarchy theme, feel free to browse the contest and Stylenoir inspiration pages listed in the links below.

Digital Artists

Similar to traditional artists, we would love to see any and all means of creating suitable pieces of art! The only stipulation here applies to artists seeking to create photomanipulations to submit to the contest - - I'm afraid that the magazine is unable to accept and publish pieces created with other people's stock so if you want to make a photomanipulation all the stock you use must be your own.

Important Dates

Contest starts on the 30th of August
Deadline for entries is the 30th of September
Finalists are announced on the 7th of October
The three winners are announced on the 14th of October

3 winners, one from each of the medium types, will be featured again online and specially in the Monarchy print issue of Stylenoir Magazine in addition to each winning the following:
1 year deviantART premium membership
